It’s easy to start a blog, but it’s hard to get people to read it. Why Web Designers And Web Developers Should Have Blogs

Why-Web-Designers-And-Web-Developers-Should-Have-Blogs

Over the last couple of months, I’ve interviewed quite a few people who are well-known in the web design niche, including Sacha Greif, Jacob Cass and Chris Coyier. February 2013: Learn How to Build a Popular Blog

February-2013-Learn-How-to-Build-a-Popular-Blog

There’s one thing that I’ve noticed when I started interviewing well-known web designers and web developers: they all have blogs.

I’m serious, just think about it: Jacob Cass, Sacha Greif, Chris Spooner, Fabio Sasso, Chris Coyier, just to name a few..

The thing is that having a popular blog can accelerate your career in web design or web development:

  • When you have a popular blog, it’s easier to become well-known and respected in the web design/web development niche.
  • When you are well-known and respected in web design/web development niche, you don’t have to chase clients, because potential clients approach you themselves.
  • When you are well-known and respected in web design/web development niche, it’s relatively easy to create streams of passive income by creating and selling your products, because potential buyers already know you and trust you.

It’s all about building a strong personal brand and leveraging it’s power. However, it’s easy to say “build a popular blog”. How on Earth are you supposed to do that? That’s exactly what we will be covering this month:
